I did some extensive research on this and found out that running the batchfile MSCOMC2.bat will not store the mscomct2.ocx on the C:/Windows/SysWOW64 you have to extract or download the mscomct2.ocx file and copy/paste it on C:/Windows/SysWOW64 then, register it on the system using CMD (admin) for Excel to see it. Command - C: Windows System32 regsvr32.exe mscomct2.ocx.
